Matthew 18:19-20

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:19-20

I am truly blessed with the best Prayer Warriors around!  There is something so comforting in knowing you have others not only praying for you but with you.  My circle of Prayer Warriors will drop everything and pray with me and for me as soon as I ask.  I can text any of them at any time and I know they will pray.  They will stand in agreement with me and they will truly listen to what God has to tell them on my behalf.  There have been many times when I was about to give up and one or more would send me encouragement telling me not to.  God speaks to me through them on a daily basis.

I cannot tell you enough about the importance of having Godly people in your life.

It makes such a difference.  When you surround yourself with negativity, drama, and gossip, then that is what you are feeding your thoughts, your heart, and your soul.  When you are surrounding yourself with positivity, healing, encouragement, and prayers, then that is what you are feeding your thoughts, your heart, and your soul.  Just surrounding myself with Godly people who I talk and pray with daily has changed my outlook on things, has given me joy, and helps keep me encouraged and at peace in the promises that God has given me.

God is going to make us wait sometimes.

What we do in the waiting is meant to grow us, build our character, teach us perseverance, increase our FAITH, and much more.  When the waiting seems long, it can be hard to persevere.  You learn to completely lean on God.  You learn to walk in His strength.  The waiting is made a little easier by having prayer warriors who lift you up when you need it. When you are weary, they will stand in the gap for you.   I’ve had several friends spend hours and hours texting me and talking to me.  I have one who would bring me lunch and sit with me and talk until I could find my peace again and then two days later come right back and bring me a Diet Dr. Pepper and talk with me until I felt better.  I can just show up at another one of my prayer warrior’s houses unannounced with tears streaming down my face, and she just takes me in and listens to me cry. She always has such great words of wisdom that shed new light on my situation and I leave with a smile on my face and peace in my heart.  Even when I am walking and talking with God and I know that He has truly given me a promise, I still have days where I need more encouragement and guidance.  I am thankful that God has put the exact people in my life that He has for this.  He gave them to me for a reason and they help me more than they will ever know!

Prayer Warriors will never let you give up!

There have been several times on this journey where I have almost given up on one of the things I am praying about.  My prayer warriors won’t let me.  They remind me of all our answered prayers over the last several months.  They remind me that giving up is the easy way out and that God has a plan and purpose for me.  They remind me how far God has brought me and that He will not abandon me now.  When I am weakest, they stay strong for me.  When I don’t know exactly what to pray anymore, they pray for me.  They send me scriptures and prayers in texts.  My sister in law will drop everything at work and pray with me on the phone.  My cousin will spend her morning time at work praying not only for me but for God to give her the right words to say to me.

I recently had a bad day that I thought was going to be the thing that made me give up.  It was going to be the thing that showed me it was time to walk away and I had read all the signs wrong. Several of my prayer warriors would not let me and covered me in prayer and stood on God’s promises to me for me.  The next day I cried out to God in my car asking for encouragement and He delivered that very day and the next day too!  How thankful I was to have Godly people in my life who knew it wasn’t time to walk away.

My youngest daughter thought I made up the words “prayer warrior”.  Not only does she know what it means now but she has become one herself.  She has told me on several occasions how proud she is of me for walking and talking with God.  I seem much happier to her now and my journey has blessed her because she now prays every morning and every night and some of her prayers for me have already been answered.  She never tells me what those prayers are.  She just says that’s between her and God.  Sometimes when she hugs me I can hear her whispering.  I can’t hear what it is she is saying but I know those whispers are between her and God.  What a blessing she is to me!

Prayer Warriors are such a blessing!

I pray that you have Godly people in your life to not only help you through the bad times but to celebrate the good ones too! God really does speak to us through those around us so surround yourself with people that God would want in your life.  You will be blessed and your life enriched by your own “prayer warriors”.  If you need someone to pray for you and with you, reach out to me and I will be happy to pray.  We all need prayers and just like anything else, there is power and strength in numbers!  You do not have to fight your battles alone.  Let God fight for you and let your prayer warriors stand with you and kneel beside you in prayer!
