We all use Social Media and for a blogger, they say it is a must to grow your blog.  I do use them all. I spend quite a bit of time on Pinterest because it is what brings traffic to my blog but I am called to do much more than just blog.  I am called to encourage others and I don’t always have time to sit down and write a blog post.  In fact, once I start one it usually takes me several days to finish it.  I have grown a small following on my blog through Pinterest and I give all the Glory to God for that. 

I want to encourage others more than just through my blog though.  Some people might not always think to go back to my blog to see if there is anything new or if they do go back and I don’t have anything new at that moment, then I’ve missed an opportunity to help them.  I’ve missed an opportunity to spread the Word of God so in order to encourage others a little more I post on Instagram.  (Now, my instagram is linked to my blog’s facebook page so it will post there as well but I don’t have as big of a following on facebook.)

Instagram is so easy to use and I have more of a following there than I do any other social media.  People just like to scroll through Instagram and I gain new followers every day without even trying.  I have more engagement with others on my instagram page than any other social media page.  I try to post scriptures, quotes, and videos.  It is still not every day but it is at least 2-3 times a week.  

Everything I post is something the Lord has put on my heart and it’s something He is saying not just to my audience but to me personally.  He is working on me daily and I do not mind sharing that with others.  If my pain or my healing can help someone else too, then I want to share it!

I pray that this encourages you today.  I am so thankful the Lord continues to speak to my spirit and that He has put it on my heart to share it with others.  Sometimes our greatest healing comes from helping others to heal.  

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. 2 Timothy 1:9

We are meant to live a life that is Holy. Why wouldn’t we want to share that?
