Some days you just need to wake up to some inspiration!  Something that encourages you to get moving and motivated in the morning!  Something to start your day off right! 

The best thing you can do is to have some quiet time with the Lord in the morning but I know that doesn’t always happen.  There are so many reasons that could keep you from that in the morning or maybe you just prefer to have your quiet time at night before you go to bed.  Either way, it’s nice to have something you can read quickly to encourage you before your day begins so this week I wanted to just shower you with some of my favorite encouraging Christian quotes.  

I am the queen of sticky notes so I have some of these on sticky notes all over my computer at work so I can stay encouraged throughout my workday.  Some I write on my bathroom mirror along with certain scriptures so that I read them daily first thing in the morning.  Whatever you have to do to keep your heart and mind on things above, right?! (Colossians 3:2)  And of course, I have given them to you on beautiful pinnable images below because that is how I like to do it! 

I love this one because it is exactly how I feel sometimes.  It literally takes everything in me some days to keep moving forward but as long as we move forward in the Lord, it doesn’t matter how we do it!  There are always going to be those days where crawling is the best we’ve got and that’s okay.  On the days we don’t feel like we can even do that, we can trust Him to carry us through! Just keep moving forward in the Lord and you will run again!

This is something I remind myself of daily especially as an elementary school librarian!  Just today I was reminded that we don’t know what our students go through at home.  They should be able to come to us with clean slates and be loved on the way Jesus would love on them!  This helps me be a little more patient, a little more understanding, and it helps me give them a little more time and attention.  They aren’t the only ones either.  Everyone we come in contact with should be treated like Jesus would want us to treat them.  You never know if you are the only example of Him they will see.  

This reminds me of the song, “Praise You in this Storm” by Casting Crowns which I absolutely love! If we truly believe He is who He says He is then we can’t help but praise Him at all times especially in the storm!

Can I just say I love Lysa TerKeurst so much?  She inspires me daily.  (I follow her on twitter) Anything she writes you can guarantee to be great and encouraging!  She is so right too!  I am a child of God and His opinion of me is the only one that counts!  His plans for me are the only ones that count!  My identity is in Him!

Y’all, I am just so thankful to be fully known and loved by Him!

You know the saying, “God doesn’t call the qualified.  He qualifies the called.” Trust Him to lead you where He may!  He will always provide along the way to what He has for you!

Wherever you are in life right now, God will meet you there!  You only need to run into His open arms and let Him lead the way!
